If you submit your details as a prospective student, we’ll store this data for one year.

If you enrol as a student, we’ll store your data for 7 years after the completion of your course in line with regulatory and governing body requirements, where there may be a requirement to hold your data to evidence the completion of your studies or for audit purposes.

Where you have supplied your consent to receive future communications about our products that maybe relevant to your enquiry or the sector of training being undertaken, we will hold your information for an indefinite period of time. Your information will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

How do we keep your data secure?

We take your privacy and security very seriously, and take appropriate measures to ensure that your data is protected from misuse.

We use the following security measures to protect your data:

  • Industry standard secure sockets layer (SSL) technology, to protect personal information, as well as the use of specific logins and secure passwords
  • Our web servers and database servers are held in a securely managed data centre and are further protected with a personal firewall and inherent security layers

With third party Business Partners, Contractors, and Service Providers – we may share your information with third party partners that perform services on our behalf, including for payment processing, order fulfilment, data analysis, marketing services, hosting services, customer services, debt collection agencies and customer support. These third party business partners are required to use it solely as directed by us for the purpose of our requested service.
  3. Examination and Workshop venues – arrangement of workshops and exams
  4. In the event of a Merger or Business Transfer – In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
    If My Training Academy or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
